One morning, the six-year old Dong-hee arrives at a quiet nursing home at the outskirt of Seoul.  While the adults talk, Dong-hee is left alone and ends up helping his great grandfather’s escape out of the nursing home.  Born in Pyongan-do,a province in North Korea, Dong-hee’s great grandfather follows his fragmented memory that has stopped him from remembering beyond the age of sixteen and starts looking for his mother.  Pretending to be his great grandfather’s lost little brother, Dong-hee joins his great grandfather’s journey back home.

The Story:
